Current Activities

Ujeengo is promoting partnerships in Nigeria between NGO's and unions in to work on trade union leadership education in partnership with the National Union of Hotel & Personal Services Workers and several Nigerian national unions.

Ujeengo is working in Kenya on a project called: "Preventing Gender Based Violence in the upcoming 2022 Kenya Election.”

The CIDPK recently submitted a Shadow Report entitled: “A Citizens Score Card on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the State of Marginalization in Kenya”



In partnership with Global African Congress, My Divine Appointment and The Black Educators, supported by the TD and the Halifax Libraries, Ujeengo organized an annual public forum in Halifax, Canada with local grassroots groups on Reparations and Empowerment.

Ujeengo actively promotes dialogue on youth education between children in Halifax, Nova Scotia and children in African countries.

In partnership with Kaafi Consulting, Ujeengo provided Anti-Racism/Anti-Oppression Training to young women from across Canada.

We provide research, policy development and training on our key areas of intervention.
